	The two position state postal abbreviation code 
	representing the pricing location of the service 
	reported on the DMERC line item.
	This is usually the beneficiary state of
	residence.

	Note: the BENE_RSDNC_SSA_STD_STATE_CD reported
	in the fixed portion of the DMERC claim record
	may differ from this field.  This can happen
	when the beneficiary is in another state when
	the service is rendered (other than the
	primary residence state), or the beneficiary
	has moved to another state and the CWF master
	record has not yet been changed.
